Imperial Hotel, London : ウィキペディア英語版 | Imperial Hotel, London
The Imperial Hotel is a hotel on the east side of Russell Square. The original building was designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll and built between 1905 and 1911. It was demolished in 1966 and replaced with a new building of the same name. In 1943, the West Indian cricketer Learie Constantine had booked two rooms for himself and his daughter, but on arrival was told he would have to leave in the morning. The manageress told him "We are not going to have these niggers in our hotel".〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/333401.html )〕 ==References==
